With four player co-op, a competent track builder, and a great feel to its gameplay, Hot Wheels Let's Race Ultimate Speed is a solid racer with a “Kart Racer” feel. Fans of the show, or the genre in general, will find a lot to like here.

Fast and Furious Arcade Edition is a straight port of the 2022 Arcade Classic. It feels great to play, has superb arcade visuals, and a solid sense of speed. However, the Fast and Furious branding and ties to the license is simply wasted.

Painkiller 2025 is a reimaging of the original game, albeit with very little connective tissue. While the story, characters, and endgame all fall flat, the core gameplay is a wild ride, even if the inspiration from Doom 2016 goes a little too far and causes the game to lose much of its identity.

Bye Sweet Carole has all the hallmarks of classic adventure games and the countless point and click games of the past. It handles horror in such a unique way due to its Disney-like presentation, and frankly, the whole experience feels like a truly interactive animated film.

Just Dance is back, sort of. As Just Dance has continued its life as a live service game, it is back for its yearly installment with 40 new songs and a new party mode. While the Party mode has some nice ideas, its collection of songs this year is a pretty big miss.

Ball x Pit is a roguelite like no other. A once thriving city has been destroyed and those looking to seek out treasure have ventured to the pit. Combine wild abilities and numerous character traits together as you fuse and upgrade your skills to collect gold, resources and more, to build a town, collect more people, and destroy enemies with your.. well.. balls.

Battlefield 6 had a lot to prove, especially as it’s been the only franchise to really go toe to toe with Call of Duty. The initial sales of Battlefield 6 certainly show promise, and with a Battle Royale mode to drop at some point in the future, there is a lot to be hopeful for here.

What stuck out to me first when seeing Absolum for the first time was its striking visuals, having a balance between the art of both Marvel Comics’ Chris Bachalo and Hellboy’s Mike Mignola, heavy with black lines and a solid use of strong black pockets that help the colors around it stand out. Then came the realization that it was a Beat'em Up Roguelike, and that's when I fell in love.

Supermassive Games may have nailed what made the first two games so beloved, but it feels like a safe road they’ve traveled here as opposed to taking some risks to mark their own stamp on the game.

Yooka-Replaylee is a solid platformer, even if it does feel like some of its original vision has been dissected away in favor of improving the overall feel of the game. With the conveniences of a map, fast travel, and better controls, some of the original’s flaws can creep up, but honestly, they rarely got in the way.

As strange occurrences are taking place in the city, you’ll dive into a mystery that sees not only your agency tending to the public, but teaming up with digital monsters known as Digimon. With your new allies, you’ll get to the bottom of this mystery and beyond.

Trails in the Sky: First Chapter is a truly exceptional remake of the 2004 original. As Estelle and her adoptive brother Joshua begin their trek to become senior bracers, political tension is at an all time high as forces behind the scenes start to enact their plot against all who stand in their way.

While Dice of Destiny is a solid idea, taking these characters and injecting them into a Diablo-like, the game simply is far too shallow and repetitive to really maintain much interest beyond the appeal of these timeless characters. 

Borderlands 4 nails everything that a Borderlands sequel should. The story is excellent with a lot to look forward to via DLC, and the cast of characters, including your Vault Hunter, contribute to much of that story, in really engaging ways. With some great writing, solid humor, without going overboard, it causes the rest of the package to really shine.

As a red mist flooded the village and saw its occupants vanish, Rias and Slade team up to discover just what happened and why Rias, all of a sudden, finds a mysterious cauldron that gifts her the ability to perform alchemy.
