It’s very likely that surviving in the medieval era was far from easy. From bandits, the plague, and war-torn cities, it was never easy to survive as a peasant. However, do we ever wonder what it’s actually like being a part of the Lords that try and run these towns? This is where City States: Medieval comes in, to give us this experience and insight as to what it was like trying to be a Lord in these times.
Even as a demo, a small slice of what's to come, Wolfhound is shaping up to be a really great throwback to an iconic era. Its enemies are deadly, but the environments are a far more threatening force, filled with dangers that can feel like you are running the gauntlet.
Sometimes you will unearth a diamond in the rough and find absolute joy in that discovery. For me this happens to be Windrose, a high seas pirate adventure that has been a blast to play. From land to sea there is a ton to explore in this adventure, and loads to do. So, let’s fire off the cannons, and set sail ye’ landlubbers.
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection features all seven games with visual upgrades, and a whole ton of additional enhancements and bonus materials. With a release later this month, this preview details what you should expect from the full release.
Nested lands takes place in a medieval world riddled with plague, and yet you task yourself with rebuilding a village in these lands. It will be a tough task, but if you keep your head about you, you can make it happen.
Monster Lab has a very simple premise that reminds me a bit of Cash Cleaner for some reason. With clean graphics and cute monsters, it has good potential to be a fun time. And, with some things being teased in the game currently, I look forward to what this team will add to in the future.
There are also some UI and quality of life improvements that would help make the game a little easier to understand. But even then, the game definitely shows great potential and is still a fun time to play. I look forward to seeing how PIONER grows and develops, and seeing what kind of new features the devs have in mind.
Beastro is a fun and refreshing take on the typical Roguelite genre, as instead of going out on the runs yourself, you make the meals that the caretakers eat before they head out on their mission. In Beastro, you are not a fighter; you are a chief who runs the local eatery.
RTS Hero is a refreshing take on the real-time strategy genre. Instead of just building up your home base and ordering your troops into battle. You can take control of your hero and fight alongside your men.
Operation Purge is a single-player, sci-fi survival game set on Titan,, one of Saturn’s moons. You’re an astronaut who survives a crash after responding to a distress call in the deep reaches of space. You’ll then survey the wreckage, repair key systems to your survival, and attempt to get to the bottom of the distress call that sent you here in the first place.
The loop, loot, and shopkeeping are top-notch and ever more addictive than the original game. Moonlighter 2 offers up a compelling reason to jump in now, despite the nature of what Early Access can mean at the start of its journey.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been playing Far Far West, a new co-op shooter that’s currently available in early access. Thus far, I’ve had a fun time with the game, but it still has some way to go before it’s ready for prime time.
