While the idea of a haunted carnival to add to the game’s campaign is an interesting idea, especially as Gwen is a fantastic new addition to the game’s cast of characters, this short expansion lacks any original ideas or enough content to really stand out.

Developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, a team normally behind the scenes aiding in development of other Ubisoft Originals, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage would be the studio’s first full game, not to mention a long-awaited return to the true assassin nature of the series. While its smaller package can be a bit oversimplified, it is nonetheless an extremely enjoyable adventure.

While Starfield is a remarkable achievement in creating a game built around the vastness of space, and humanity's reach amongst the stars, typical Bethesda game design and numerous glitches result in an experience that often has it struggling to break orbit.

While Pizza Possum never amounts to much more than its basic steal the pizza premise, it is a charming experience that can certainly provide a few brief hours of entertainment.

Mortal Kombat 1 is the follow-up to Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath, a DLC that saw Liu Kang rebooting the kurrent timeline to bring peace across the realms. However, a mysterious evil is set to disrupt that peace through various means. MK1 is a solid fighter that excels at what it does but does have limited modes to keep you occupied.

NASCAR Arcade Rush leaves the realism of NASCAR behind in favor of an arcade-style experience that brings the same energy and feel of something akin to Cruis’n’ Blast, albeit without the impressive soundtrack and larger-than-life monsters.

The Crew Motorfest takes the festival approach from Forza Horizon and brings a solid racing entry to the island of O’ahu, Hawaii. With a unique series of playlists that roam from Japanese street racing to the history of the Porsche 911, Motorfest is a reinvention of The Crew and its best entry yet.

Mythforce is a dungeon roguelike for up to four players that feels ripped out the best of the 80s series of Saturday Morning Cartoons. It’s He-Man meets Battleborn in a way that truly kicks ass. However, it has a fare share of issues that can certainly hold it back.

Mugen Souls Z, is a Switch port of the 2013 original that provides a turn-based combat system, worlds to explore, and some pretty controversial fan serive that culminate in a game that simply isn’t fun and is one hell of a grind.

While I found its colorful and charming world largely impressive, with some fairly decent, if familiar, gameplay, my time with Byteland Overclocked was unfortunately buggy, broken, and ultimately disappointing. 

Lil Gator Game is built around the titular Lil Gator and his older sister. As the pair grew up, the older sibling would create a game for her younger brother, charging him with a quest that is very much inspired by The Legend of Zelda, even pointing out that the hero is often green, something that Lil Gator is very much excited about.

Immortals of Aveum is the debut game from Ascendant Studios. This first-person magical shooter may rely on a few tired tropes, but it ultimately provides a satisfying experience of swapping out guns for magical spells, with a cast that will certainly grow on you.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is FromSoftware's return to the series, bringing its astounding modern art direction and technical experience on hand to produce a fast-paced and intense experience that while at times can be extremely challenging, refrains from simply just being Dark Souls with mechs.

While Sea of Stars impresses with an engaging series of combat mechanics, memorable characters, and some fun traversal systems, as well as some gorgeous visuals. the narrative built around it didn’t always keep my attention. 

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre does a remarkable job of bringing the 1974 classic to life. As the Slaughter Family hunts you down, you’ll need to outwit, outsmart, and out-dodge them in order to find the necessary tools needed to escape.

Adore takes the Pokémon formula of commanding a squad of monsters into an isometric adventure akin to Diablo or Torchlight. While its combat, progression, and style is fairly decent, generic missions, incredibly tiny text, and a grindy repetitive loop significantly hold it back.

Dros, an action puzzler that has you escaping a 40-floor tower, has moments of solid character work, hurmor, engaging puzzles, and while a few environmental assets can often get in the way, it nonetheless delivers a solid little adventure. 

Oceanhorn 2 is a prequel to the events of Monster of Uncharted Seas, placing you in the role of an unnamed hero destined to save the world. Join your allies in Trin, Gen, and Master Mayfair, and rise up against the Dark Army in this enjoyable, if flawed, Zelda-like.

As the new Floor Manager at Slimey’s, a bar that has four unique Slime Girls working their bodies to produce drinks, you’ll get to know the girl’s strengths and weaknesses and even get to know them a bit more personally.
