As someone who grew up through many of the decades that gaming has been around, I’ve played on everything from the Intellivision and Caleco to all generations of Nintendo, Sega, Sony, and Xbox. And, despite how graphics and visuals have improved over the years, I still get excited at returning classics or games that look to borrow from the era.

Survival Horror has been a huge genre for me, especially Silent Hill 2. In fact, I have a tattoo of Pyramid Head on my leg, drawn by myself.

I’ve also quite enjoyed the resurgence of farming simulators, not just with Stardew Valley, but the Rune Factory series and even SquareEnix’s attempt with Harvestella. Still, for as good as the genre gets, Stardew is something that keeps me coming back.
