During Sunday’s Xbox Showcase, SEGA & ATLUS premiered a brand new trailer for their upcoming RPG remake, Persona 4 Revival. The team also surprised fans by announcing a February 18, 2027 release date. It appears they weren’t finished there!

Earlier today, Xbox shared a new post diving deeper into the game’s quaint, slightly unnerving setting of Inaba, Japan. The blog takes readers on a tour of the local haunts and breaks down everything to do in this quiet coastal town. If you have never played Persona 4 before then I highly recommend giving it a read. Below is just a snippet of what the blog post reveals for those who are unfamiliar with the game.

About Inaba
Our story takes place in the rural city of Inaba, Japan—a middle-of-nowhere town surrounded by rolling hills, farmlands and rivers. There’s little-to-no tourist attractions or entertainment to be found, but that’s what makes it so charming.
As long as you ignore the series of gruesome murders plaguing the town, it’s a wonderful place to visit!

Of course, this is only just scratching the surface of Persona 4 Revival and what was revealed in the Xbox Wire post today. It talks about characters you’ll meet, activities you can do and more. Obviously, none of this will be massive spoilers, but it’s good to be aware of just in case you’re gearing up for your first experience with the game or the persona franchise in general.
