SUPERNATURAL HANDYMAN SIM THE LIFT IS COMING TO PC, PLAYSTATION 5 & XBOX SERIES X|S IN 2027!

At today’s Triple-I Initiative Showcase, indie publisher tinyBuild and debut studio Fantastic Signals, a new team of veteran developers whose past credits include Pathologic 2 and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, announced that The Lift, the first-person, narrative-driven, supernatural handyman simulator, is coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2027! Check out the game’s new trailer for a glimpse of why over 300,000 Steam players have wishlisted The Lift already since its original announcement and overwhelmingly positive first public playtest in late 2025.

The Lift will challenge players to renovate what was once humanity's most advanced research facility – the Institute. Now standing abandoned and plagued by cosmic decay, it’s up to you as a Keeper to repair the Institute and uncover its dark secrets before they are lost to the void. First revealed for Steam in September 2025, the game was announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S during the Triple-I Initiative showcase, with console versions launching simultaneously with PC in 2027.

ABOUT THE LIFT

The Lift is an eerie, story-driven handyman simulator in which you renovate and explore a massive research facility abandoned after a mysterious incident. Set in a highly interactive world inspired by Soviet science fiction, The Lift puts a surreal twist on the handyman gameplay formula, tasking players with a wide range of jobs from vacuuming reality-distorting anomalies and collecting fuel from robotic bees to reviving interdimensional satellite dishes and repairing sentient reactors.

  • RENOVATE: Every floor of the Institute is a massive renovation project with unique challenges. Work at your own pace, tackling everything from basic furniture repairs to complex electrical engineering projects. Use a variety of gadgets, craft what you need, and bring the Institute back to its former glory.

  • EXPLORE: Use the Lift as your mobile base while traveling across the Institute. Explore multiple biomes, unlock hidden areas, meet unforgettable characters, and complete their quests. Piece together the mind-bending truth behind the incident that changed everything.

  • REPAIR: Breathe life back into dozens of intricate devices, from vending machines and generators to satellite dishes and reactors. Build circuits with multiple components, identify fault currents, route cables, manage power supply, and generate torque to repair each system.
