NEXON has unveiled Embers of the Uncrowned!

NEXON recently unveiled Embers of the Uncrowned, a dark fantasy MMORPG experience combining fast-paced isometric combat with brutal, gory visuals, which will be playable during the upcoming Steam Next Fest from June 15 to June 22 PDT. 

Ahead of that, interested players can pre-download the Steam Next Fest build early on June 13 at 6:00 PM PDT on the Steam page here. The demo will feature at least 180 minutes of gameplay to clear the main quests, and over 480 minutes of total content for players aiming to reach maximum progression, along with three main story chapters and 34 side quests. 

Players diving into the demo can experience the following: 

  • Combat and Multiplayer Content

    • 4 Domain Bosses, 8 Field Bosses, 4 Defense of the Spring Bosses and 1 Raid Boss

    • 3 main regions and 10 regions available for liberation and exploration

      • Main regions: Goldenhaven, Amber Coast, Towerstead

        • Goldenhaven: 1 Quest Boss

        • Amber Coast: 2 Domain Bosses, 4 Field Bosses

        • Towerstead: 2 Domain Bosses, 4 Field Bosses

    • Multiplayer-focused field and matchmaking content 

      • 4 field and matchmaking content types: 

        • Field: Domain Bosses, Defense of the Spring

        • Matchmaking: Raid, Arena

  • Character Progression and Customization

    • 3 playable classes, including Stormbringer, Executioner, and Spectral Blade

    • 28–29 skills per class with active and passive skill progression systems

    • Companion systems centered around Eslyn with 17 companion skills and affinity based exclusive questlines

    • Character customization through 12 costume sets and 19 mounts

      • A total of 49 pieces across the 12 costume sets

  • Housing and Progression Systems

    • Players will be able to construct and manage 7 different buildings supporting enhancement, research, trade, and crafting features through upgradeable facilities up to level 4-5

    • Expanding progression opportunities through region liberation and resource management systems

Meanwhile, coinciding with the launch of Steam Next Fest demo, Embers of the Uncrowned is gearing up to be playable on cloud gaming platforms, including NVIDIA's GeForce NOW and Boosteroid.
