Players worldwide can jump into Marathon during the open preview Server Slam on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam from February 26, 2026 at 10 a.m. PT to March 2 at 10 a.m. PT*. Marathon’s Server Slam will not require PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, and will be part of Xbox’s Free Play Days and Steam Next Fest.
The Server Slam offers an introduction toMarathon's gameplay with a limited selection of maps, Runner shells, and contracts. Additional maps, factions, contracts, gear, and more to come at launch and during Season 1.
Players who participate in or watch the Server Slam can earn multiple rewards forMarathon’s launch on March 5, including tiered gear packages, cosmetic Twitch Drops, and more.
