Debut developer Myrkur Games and publisher Deep Silver today announced that Echoes of the End, the studio’s debut cinematic action-adventure game, will launch on Aug. 12 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
To celebrate the reveal, the studio has released an extended 17-minute gameplay trailer, offering players their most immersive look yet at the game’s breath-taking world, powerful magic, and emotional character-driven narrative.
The new gameplay footage takes place early in the story and highlights several of the game’s core pillars, introducing the baseline of Ryn’s abilities alongside a glimpse at enemy types, traversal, and environmental encounters that later chapters and character upgrades expand upon.
What begins as a routine border patrol quickly turns into chaos when Ryn and her brother, Cor, are ambushed by forces from the neighboring kingdom of Reigendal. Among the attackers is Zara, a powerful vestige like Ryn—born with the rare ability to wield ancient, volatile magic.
The two clash in a fierce battle that ends in a tense stalemate, interrupted only by the arrival of Abram Finlay, a scholar and explorer who pulls Ryn from the fight. Now separated from her brother, Ryn must team up with Abram to find Cor and uncover the true purpose behind Reigendal’s sudden invasion.
Driven by themes of trust, sacrifice, and redemption, Echoes of the End unfolds across ten hand-crafted chapters filled with cinematic moments, memorable characters, and high-stakes decisions.
Echoes of the End launches on August 12th 2025 for $39.99. Players can wishlist the game now on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation.
