Marking the culmination of 10 years of development and 8 years in Early Access, Escape from Tarkov will officially release on November 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM GMT / 06:00 AM EST.

The release will be preceded by the installation of the version 1.0 patch onto the game servers. This process is expected to take approximately 24 hours, during which the game will be unavailable.

Concurrently, EFT: Arena will receive Patch 0.4.05, which is estimated to take the same amount of time. The official websites and the Battlestate Games Account Center will be unavailable during the first few hours of the patch installation.

The release of Escape from Tarkov will be accompanied by a full wipe of all players' PvP profiles. PvE mode players have the option to perform a voluntary account wipe. This can be done on the Profile Page on the official website and is required to begin the new story questline and access the release content.

The patch for EFT: Arena will be accompanied by a partial wipe of the game profile.

Escape from Tarkov on Steam and other platforms

In its first 2 months on Steam, Escape from Tarkov has been wishlisted by over 1,000,000 players. The game is localized into more than 20 languages.

A 25% discount on all editions available in the store is offered for pre-orders on Steam until the release moment (November 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM GMT / 06:00 AM EST). Upon release, the game will be available on Steam with a 15% launch discount for a limited time.

Furthermore, for two weeks following the release (from November 15 to November 29, 2025), a special discount will be active on the official game website: 30% off The Unheard Edition and 10% off all other editions.

Beta test participants and players who placed a pre-order will receive exclusive in-game rewards. These rewards are permanent and will not be reset during profile wipes. The items will be credited automatically on release day. Detailed information is available on the official website.

Tarkov TV and Twitch Drops

The release episode of Tarkov TV will air on the launch day, November 15, 2025, at 08:00 AM GMT / 03:00 AM EST. During the show, the head of Battlestate Games, Nikita Buyanov, will share his thoughts on the release preparation, celebrate this milestone with players, and discuss future development plans for Escape from Tarkov.

Following Tarkov TV and the launch of version 1.0, the release Twitch Drops Event will begin in Escape from Tarkov.

From November 15, 11:30 AM GMT / 06:30 AM EST to December 6, 11:30 AM GMT / 06:30 AM EST, viewers of streams in the "Escape from Tarkov" category will be guaranteed to receive unboxable containers with varying rarity levels of content, along with other rewards, at specific intervals.

Additionally, from November 15, 11:30 AM GMT / 06:30 AM EST to December 6, 11:30 AM GMT / 06:30 AM EST, Twitch Drops for subscribing to streamers will be active. Rewards obtained through this campaign will remain with players even after a profile wipe.
