Developed and published by Newcore Games, The Devil Within: Satgat is a 2.5D stylish action title that follows the adventure of Rip Kim, an Eastern Warrior plagued by demonic blood. The game was recently shown off at The MIX Spring Showcase.
With the arrival of the mysterious Black Stone Tower, the land of Joseon was changed forever. The tower’s origins once brought a welcomed peace to the land, but that moment of prosperity was only finite. Eventually, the tower spewed forth evil spirits, threatening the lives of the living. Many warriors failed in destroying the tower, seeing their efforts amount to nothing as their people continued to suffer.
The Devil Within: Satgat has you taking on the role of Rip Kim, a warrior set on guiding lost souls to the great beyond. You’ll take on powerful demons through your swordsmanship and shooting skills, each of which can be upgraded during your adventure.
As Rip Kim vanquished his demon foes, he starts to become one himself, seeing their dark power transferring into his very being. Rip Kim will have to control this evil within him if he has any chance of survival.
