Today, ATLUS announced that they will be partnering up with Pandasaurus Games to create a card game based on the smash hit RPG Persona 5 Royal. This eponymous card game, slated for release on October 21st, 2023, will be designed by Emerson Matsuuchi, best known for his roles in designing the Century and Foundations of Rome board games. Next year, players will be invited to try their hand at stepping into the shoes of the Phantom Thieves in this cooperative card-based game.
Matsuuchi teases about the gameplay: “Players will take on the roles of their favorite Phantom Thieves and fight to change the world in this cooperative card-based strategy game.”
